"Embroidered Shawl, 19th Century."
Cotton and silk embroidery shawl decorated with two friezes of bouquets of flowers. At the ends, on the edges, runs a garland of foliage in the same mowing. A very refined polychromy, very good general condition although there is a tiny recovery and yellowed parts with folds. The set is very elegant and the quality of the embroidery indicates a professional work. Rare, England or Northern Europe, first half of the 19th century.
