"Travel Glass In Its Case"

Very interesting travel glass with iridescent colors typical of Loetz production in its leather case from the Parisian house "Au Touriste". The flattened glass remains in perfect condition, it has magnificent colors ranging from pink to metallic green typical of its production. Glass dimensions: 7 cm X 3 cm. Height: 8.5cm The case is covered with fawn-colored leather and lined inside with a thin protective layer of cork (some small visible gaps in the cork). The silver-plated brass clasp is activated by simple pressure and works perfectly. Hollow mark on the lower part of the case: AU TOURISTE 36 Bis Avenue de l'Opéra Paris. This famous Parisian and contemporary house of Vuiton was created by Michel Flandin in 1847, a beautiful house which offered trunks, travel utensils, accessories for motorists etc. Note: a beautiful collector's item on several themes: travel, the automobile, Art Nouveau, travel utensils ... Delivery: 10 € for metropolitan France.
