Lovely panel representing a herd drinking in a pond, by André Cortés y Aguilar. This artist was born in Seville in 1812 and died in 1879. A pupil of Troyon, he joined for a time the painters of the Barbizon school. He exhibited at the Salon des Beaux Arts in Madrid, he was awarded a medal in 1858 and 1868. Spanish School of the XIXs.
