Large 18th century drawing "Landscape at the bridge", pen and gray and sepia wash, 48 X 36 cm, mounted by a beautiful heavily stained Marie-Louise in a more modern gilt frame, but of 75 X 60 cm quality.Without glass, many clear rednesses.
This beautiful sheet is certainly from a French hand, but from an artist who probably stayed in Italy. Well balanced in its composition which lets us glimpse buildings in the background, behind the trees whose leaves are outlined with a pen.
