Skin and glass beads

(missing)
These natural skin moccasins are adorned with a symmetrical polychrome beaded decoration embroidered using the lazy-stitch technique. As is often the case with the Cree, the patterns are surrounded: here the white flower buds and the yellow and red petals are surrounded by green pearls coming around the pattern.
The entire edge of the footwear is embroidered with a white band punctuated with light blue triangles. The moccasin is tied on the front of the foot with a leather tie.
