Large Empire-Return of Egypt style desk in mahogany. It opens with seven drawers on the front and rests on four sheath feet. Rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes on all sides: busts of Egyptian women, claw feet, stylized keyholes, wreaths of flowers with tied ribbon, palmettes, rais-de-coeur and foliage. Trimmed with new burgundy leather, four keys. Beautiful build quality. Circa 1950. Height under central drawer 61 cm, top 75.5 cm, width 150 cm, depth 80 cm.
