Louis Majorelle, Butomées Tea Table, Mahogany And Gilt Bronze, Circa 1900, Art Nouveau Furnitur

Important molded mahogany tea table, presenting a rectangular bowl-shaped top, decorated with carved floral rushes and a crotch shelf with arched cutout, with inlaid decoration in exotic wood with lily pads and floral motifs. They are based on a curved ribbed base joined by an arch and a spacer bar. Side handles in chiseled gilded bronze with a relief motif. Signed "L.Majorelle Nancy".
