Two studies of Diane the huntress and dogs on the same sheet, drawn by Ary BITTER in the years 1925-30 in order to carve these models. .Ary Bitter is also famous for his animal studies. The city of Marseille, his native town, commissioned him 2 moniumentals sculptures,"the Sun" and" the Wolrld" for the Saint Charles station, known as the great lions. Our drawing is similar to the many sculptures of Diane for which he excelled.
