Acquired with the hotel under the Restoration by M. Rougevin who gave it to his brother Auguste. Bequest of Auguste Rougevin (1792-1878) in memory of his son Auguste-Joseph (1831-1856), October 20, 1877. Entered the Louvre on January 23, 1879.
