The collar is silver (to verify)
This vase was made by the British pottery and ceramics manufacturer Royal Doulton at the beginning of the 20th century between 1901 and 1922 as attested by the mark under the vase.
Founded in 1815 in London by John Doulton, the factory started producing stoneware pots. It is thanks to his son, Henry Doulton, that the manufacture operates a turning point by calling on young artists whose results of collaborations impressed the critics, the public, as well as Queen Victoria.
In 1887, Henry Doulton became the first potter to obtain an order of chivalry and in 1901, the manufacture received a royal mandate which authorized it to bear the word "royal" in its name.
