"Pair Of Empire Ormolu & Patinated Bronze Candelabra, Early 19th Century"
Beautiful pair of Empire ormolu and patinated bronze pair of candelabras, early 19th century between 1805 and 1820.

A couple of Roman (a man and a woman) naked, half draped in a toga, carries a gilt bronze amphora from which escapes a natural rosebushes-shaped light. The gilt bronze pedestal base is decorated with masks.

High quality work, matt and shiny gilt, sharp sculpture and finely chiseled bronze.

Beautiful set, very decorative. Ideal above a fireplace, on a console or to illuminate a refined table.

The set is in very perfect condition. Gilt is 220 years old and seems as new

Height : 35.5cm
