Rectangular snuffbox with angled corners in several colors of gold. The hinged cover, the sides and base are decorated with a guilloché of parallel strips. The composition is framed by floral friezes of three shades of gold set against an amati gold background.

Master goldsmith B in a rhombus for P. Bedel in service from 1798, goldsmith in Lyon.
