Manucfacture de Sèvres, cut on heel in new paste with gray cloud decoration on a white background, underlined by a gold thread at the collar and at the heel. Signed with the two stamps of the manufacture, in ink M.Boutaleb 25-70 hollow: PN For new paste, AG for form 9-53. Mahieddine Boutaleb (1918-1994) miniaturist. He was a pupil of Omar Racim in 1931 at the school of indigenous arts in Algiers. He is a decorator at the Sèvres factory (1945-1978). He is a member of the Society of Algerian and Orientalist Artists (Algiers). His works are at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Algiers and at the city of ceramics in Sèvres. Mahieddine Boutaleb was one of the best decorators in Sèvres, where he excelled in the power of shapes and the refinement of colors. His pieces are present in many embassies around the world.
