Marie jules QUANTIN (1810-1884) "Portrait of Marie clémentine de Chevigné" (1818-1877) Signed and dated lower left Jules Quantin / 1867. "woman sitting with a fan" original canvas. Painter of religious subjects, portraits, genre and history, born in Paris. Pupil of Leon Cogniet. He exhibited at the Salon from 1839 to 1876, first class medal 1861.
