Beautiful oil on canvas from the 19th century representing a peasant woman and her child returning from the fields. Quite in the spirit and time of Jules Breton. the painting has an FM monogram in red at the bottom left? that I do not know. to identify. The canvas is in good condition, two small gaps in the border without holes. (To be cleaned) some gaps in the pretty period frame. The dimensions, without frame, 35.5 cm x 61 cm. With frame, 73 cm x 51 cm. Very pretty and full of charm.
