"Small Dresser In Mahogany Louis XVI Era"
It is plated with mahogany burl sometimes called "flamed mahogany" and is based on four slender feet tops. It opens with three drawers, a belt, flanked by fluted and rounded amounts. Hands, escutcheons and hooves are gold plated brass. The whole is surmounted by a gray marble top Sainte-Anne probably later time. This convenient, in the purest Louis XVI style may seem fairly standard at first. It is actually dotted with small details that make a unique little furniture and refined. It owes its elegance to her proportions perfectly designed: it has both an interesting presence, despite its unusually small size, and a very nice light.
