Jean Droit (1884-1961), French painter, illustrator, poster designer, decorator and writer. He contributed to L'Illustration and Annales. He is known for his enhanced drawings as well as for his posters, including the one of the 1924 Olympic Games. The Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres commissioned several models from him. Among the illustrated books, we can mention the following: Les Lettres de mon Moulin by A. Daudet, Mireille by F. Mistral, Paul et Virginie by Bernardin de Saint-Pierre.
