"Louis XIV Period Mirror From Dauphiné In The Gout De Hache"
Superb and large mirror in Louis XIV style from the Dauphiné early 18th century. Rectangular in shape, it is adorned all around with a fine marquetry. the patterns of this marquetry represent geometric shapes around the edges and interlacing acanthus leaves and volutes on the rest and the mirror is framed by a blackened wood molding. Very high quality Dauphiné work with a remarkable finesse of the parquetry that we can happily define as being in the taste of the famous cabinetmaker HACHE.
