Inscription "78" on the reverse of the canvas, the stretcher and the frame. Frame dimensions: H. 82 x L. 120 x D. 7 cm; subject: H. 60 x L. 92 x D. 2 cm. Witness of a previous restoration on the reverse, yoke and fillings, probably with wax-resin. Relaxed canvas. Paul Henri Simons, born March 27, 1865. Died February 16, 1932. 19th-20th centuries. French. Painter of landscapes, seascapes. He was a student of Jean PIerre Laurens and Louis Olivier Merson. He specialized in the landscapes of Provence.
