Exceptional and important cartel in green horn, signed Charles-François CAFFAUT, installed in Paris Rue du Marché d'Agusseau, received Master in 1750. Cartel in green horn decorated with its original mercury gilt bronze trim, carved with flowers, foliage, shells and Diana the huntress. It rests on its base, decorated with its jagged and openwork gilt bronze fittings specific to the Rocaille decorations of the Louis XV period. Its mechanism is original, movement with two barrels indicating the hours and the strike, signed CAFFAUT, Paris. Our cartel has never been restored, it has reached us in its original state.
