"19th Century English Showcase In Mahogany"
Superb and elegant English mahogany display case from the end of the 19th century. It rests on 4 whip legs surmounted by the box which includes 2 rows of drawers in the lower part. Above is the window part opening on the front by a glass door with a tile ornament in its center with a painted macaroon decorated with a bouquet of flowers and oval-shaped glazed sides. The top in a policeman's hat is adorned with an inlay patterned with volute flowers and acanthus leaves, the whole surmounted by a molded cornice. Very quality work. good state of conservation.
