"Fireback With Phoenix (100 X 80 Cm)"
Rare fireback decorated with a phoenix melted at the end of the 17th or early 18th century, a symbol of eternity and rebirth, the phoenix on its stake comes back to life hence its motto "FLAMES ARE FLOWERS OR I TAKE BACK MY LIFE", its bottom is decorated with foliage and a frieze of rudent canals frames it.
