Green marble, chiseled bronze, gilded and antique patina.
This pair of Louis XVI style cutlery pots or cassolettes is made up of a square base in green marble and against a bronze plinth. This base has a pedestal with swirling flutes and gadroons. The neck uses the same grooves, the handles and the cover are in vegetable scrolls and a pattern of leaves and berries. The belly takes up an emblematic model of a vase by the sculptor Clodion, sees there a Bacchic harvest made by putti and garlands carried by two grotesque mascarons.
