"Small Altar Portico In Ivory Marquetry Vizagapatam"
Wooden portico with ivory and ebony veneer and micro mosaic of metal and tinted wood supported by two columns on each side joined by an openwork ivory plate decorated with rosettes and flowers and finished with two basket cups. Middle of the arch in chiseled mother-of-pearl. This set rests on a rectangular molded base supported by four small feet. This object has some gaps in the corners and also on the rear central rosette.India Vizagapatam region. Period second part of the XIXth Century.
