"Michel Guéranger (1941) - Painting On Photography - Abstraction"
Large painting on photograph signed by French artist Michel Guéranger (1941). The work is dated 2002. Very good condition. Guéranger is a graduate of the National School of Applied Arts, he lives and works in Paris. Painter and graphic designer, he has been building since the mid-1960s a rich and diverse work which is the subject of exhibitions in numerous galleries in Europe, the United States and South America. He is also the co-founder in 1974 of the group "Space" with Jean Allemand and Maxime Defert. His works appear in large public and private collections. Constantly renewing the questioning of the notion of spatiality, Michel Guéranger explores the dynamic play of his laws and his perception, notably within the group "Space". He then integrates a temporal dimension through speed - collaboration with the world of automotive and Aerospace industry. He also works on the ephemeral of natural supports such as the mountain for as for his monumental work on the snows of Mont-Blanc. His experiences lead him to deepen a partial approach to the Universe, highlighting the correspondences between the different cosmic scales - the Infinitely Large, Fractal Altitudes and Altitudes Paintings - and the Infinitely Small artistic macro photographs of his "Metamorphoses of the 'water".
