These elegant appliques represent an antique canephore woman carrying two baskets filled with fruit which are the binets. The woman is surmounted by a flying drape and dressed in a dress with very detailed details ending in a branch of flowers. The late sconces of this style are very rarely the model of beautiful period lights, moreover even the finish on the back is rather that which was done in the 19th century.
