"Wooden Netsuke - Monkey And Peach"
This netsuke in katabori wood (three dimensions) represents a monkey holding a peach of longevity in his hands. The Longevity Peach is a fruit that was stolen from the garden of Goddess Xiwangmu by Sun, the King of the Apes, who became immortal by eating it.
