About ... Alain Richard (1926-2017)
Alain Richard is one of the first French designers who left their mark on the second part of the 20th century. Student of René Gabriel, major of the National Superior School of Decorative Arts in 1949, founder of his design office in 1952 with his wife, fabric designer Jacqueline Iribe, then of his own agency in 1971, Alain Richard received many orders of the Mobilier National in the 1970s.
