Very beautiful suite of 4 engravings representing the decorations of the ceilings of Holkham Hall William Kent (1695-1748) is an important British landscape painter, painter and engraver. Born in Bridlington in Yorkshire he is considered the inventor of English gardens He designed the gardens for: Stowe House in 1730 Alexander Pope's villa at Twickenham Wealthy Castle for Queen Caroline Rousham House in the Oxfordshild. He was the architect of 10 Downing Street in London Engraver: Paul Fourdrinier, (1698/1758) sometimes called Peter or Pierre Fourdrinier, was an 18th century engraver in England. Magnificent frames of black and gold lacquered chopsticks, Marie Louise wine color, underlined by two thin golden borders. Measures: 2 = 0.70 x 0.54. 1 = 0.50 x 0.60 1 = 0.63 x 0.54
