Very beautiful suite of 4 engravings representing the decorations of the ceilings of Holkham Hall William Kent (1695-1748) is an important British landscape painter, painter and engraver. Born in Bridlington in Yorkshire he is considered the inventor of English gardens He designed the gardens for: Stowe House in 1730 Alexander Pope's villa at Twickenham Wealthy Castle for Queen Caroline Rousham House in the Oxfordshild.
