Oil on canvas Tahar MGUEDMINI born in Houmt-Souk, in Djerba, of a peasant father and housewife. He continued his studies at the Beaux-Arts in Tunis then in Paris from 1970. He has lived between Djerba and Zurich since 1989. He openly claims to be part of the “lyrical” gestural expressionist movement. His large-format works in general, on paper or on canvas, using several techniques, express the human body in motion. They are almost always associated with light. Several national and international exhibitions are in its workforce. A long career and an extraordinary artist. A book was dedicated to him in 2008: Tahar M'Guedmini, the body in emotion.
