"Parisian Earthenware Pharmacy Jar"
Cylindrical jar with its lid and signed on the bottom: ACLOQUE fils rue de la Barillerie, n ° 22 in Paris. With the number 15This early 19th century pharmacy jar bears the inscription Ong. Populeum in the center of a wreath of roses, which indicates that it was intended to contain a medicine or ointment, derived from the poplar leaf. This pot is in very good condition, without cracks, with a few very small chips on the edge.
