Rare religious cross in precious wood with mother-of-pearl inlay, China or Indochina, late 19th century. Very detailed pattern of chrysanthemums and other flowers. Label on the back with provenance: "brought back from Indochina by my father General de Gouvello for my grandmother born Anna de la Moussaye" Some restorations and lack of mother-of-pearl in places, slightly veiled on a flat surface. Height: 47cm Width: 25cm
