Object description :

"Abstraction"
Charming Oil on canvas by the painter Jacques Meunier, little known to the general public but who nevertheless exhibited in major French artistic salons such as the Salon des Indépendants or the Salon des Surindépendants in the mid-twentieth century as evidenced by the labels of exhibition still present on some works. A stylized work with typical graphics of the 60s, simple and broad black lines on a multicolored background are enough here to evoke the Virgin Mary. Presented in its original natural wood frame made by the artist himself, as he always did for all of these compositions. Signed in red lower left. The rebate of the frame partly masks the artist's signature. Dimensions: 24 cm x 33 cm (4 F format) Many other objects to discover in my stand at the Trade Shows in which I participate.
