Cockades of the model specific to the officers in the national colors black-white-red in metal and red felt. Brown leather chinstrap covered with scalloped flat scales alternating two and three brass festoons, upper scales of each chinstrap covered with a mobile rosette in silvered brass, independent of the chinstrap. Bomb capped with a smooth removable tip, beaded throat pierced with four holes for ventilation of substantially ellipsoidal shape, in use for the helmets of the German Expeditionary Force in China, round base of the tip held by four star-shaped rivets eight branch in gilded metal.
