Large drawing representing an assembly of 4 characters, probably shepherds guarding a herd of farm animals, cows, sheep and sheep in front of ancient ruins, with to the right of the drawing a countryside landscape with a river. pretty 'drawing is well composed, on a terminal in front of the ruin a trace of signature and a date "1780", this work is presented in "good" condition in a Louis XVI style baguette. Typical subject of the end of the 18th century, to be compared by Lallemand and inspired by the works of Hubert Robert. or its followers The drawing measures 50 by 39.5 on sight, which is "large" enough for a drawing xviii
