Potez 53 in flight. Single-seater racing plane built by Potez specifically to participate in the Deutsch Cup de la Meurthe in 1933, which he won.
Lucien Cavé's works were highly appreciated, especially during the First World War, a popular craze initiated by the feat of Charles Lindbergh. Internationally known artist, he was the official painter of the French Air Ministry.
