- Bateau Ivre by Arthur Rimbaud published by Editions la Banderole - 1920 - Decorated with two drawings by the poet in monochrome purple - - Gray hardcover, original cover preserved - second and third orange cover followed by a cover page, then the original cover - then 4 cover pages of very nice paper, Hollande Van Gelder, the simple title page followed by another which repeats the cover without the red line - - A reproduction of a full page drawing, another in - text, which are eight in number, then the proof of the edition, this is number 499 of a total edition of 610, followed by 5 cover pages - - Stained at the top on the cardboard and the cover shows traces of handling which suggests that the binding is a few years later - tiny stains here and there, the whole holds very well in its binding, a copy that has remained fresh -
