Wall clock in Boulle marquetry, with 7 colors (tortoiseshell, colored horns, mother-of-pearl, pewter inlay on a brass background). Gilded bronze decorations with a winged warrior deity at the top, and an eagle holding in its talons a serpent in low relief, under the dial. Movement signed "Gilbert Paris" and enamel cartouche on the front noted "GILBERT APARIS". Particularly neat interior door inlay for the foliage and the bouquet of flowers. Dial with 12 Roman numerals in blue enamel. Regency period. Revised and guaranteed.
