Object description :

"Fontainebleau Around 1725- Watercolor Engraving."
Produced in three parts, this large hand-colored engraving represents the arrival of Marie Leczinska and the young Louis XV at Fontainebleau on September 5, 1725 .... Thanks to its counterpart "Versailles" we know the engraver: Vanheck rue St Jacques in St François de Sales Paris. This extremely rare piece is mounted on a large plywood surrounded by a strip. Some stains and folds visible on the photos. Inscription in pen at the bottom of the engraving (Ode au mariès).
