Pair of Norman cabinet doors from the Pays de Caux, carved fir. We find engraved on the crossbar between the two leaves, these words: MADE BY P MICHEL DAVREMENIL 1820, which should be read: “P-michel d'Avremenil“. Avremesnil (76730) is a small town in the Pays de Caux, 15 km south-west of Dieppe. Height 157 cm / Width 117 cm
