Bourgoin François Jules, French painter and engraver, 18th century - early 19th century. Probably the son of François-Joseph Bourgoin. He exhibited at the salon of 1796: Aeneas defended by Apollo, - Orpheus losing Eurydice, - Perseus and Andromeda; in the 1808 Salon: two episodes of the Combats delivered by French soldiers to the blacks of Santo Domingo, and a miniature portrait; at the Salons of 1810 and 1812 of landscapes and seascapes.
