"Small Louis XIV Commode In Rosewood With Marble Top"
Superb and elegant little Louis XIV style chest of drawers from the 18th century in rosewood veneer. It is based on rounded uprights adorned with brass grooves on their height. It opens on the front with 3 drawers slightly curved and decorated with a rosewood veneer with geometric patterns and ornamented with pull cuffs and keyholes in gilded and chiseled bronze. The sides are also veneered with rosewood with a geometric beam butterfly wing. The set is topped with a superb molded cherry red marble curved on the face. Charming chest of drawers restored and in excellent original condition, with beautiful proportions.
