"Pair Of Large Moustiers Faience Plates - XVIIIth Century"
Pair of large Plates, dishes called "aux Grotesques" in earthenware decorated with characters, Indians, wading bird on two terraces, insects and butterflies, with scalloped edges embellished with green and blue fillets on the edge. Presence of two small chips on the edge below, lack of enamel and friction around the periphery as well as a small star crack, visible in the photos. Faience of Moustiers Atelier Olérys from the XVIIIth Century.
