This clock has several signatures: HENRY JACOT reported by the HJ surrounding a parrot on its perch (next to the gong attachment), FD on the gong attachment reported in the allix carriage clock as gong maker, TRAVERS with a stamped fish (under the escapement) reported as clockmaker in the Tardy dictionary of French watchmakers, AB monogram engraved on the dial plate which is the mark of the Bayeux brothers including Alfred (reported in the allix and in the Tardy dictionary. N ° 12607 Le Roy et Fils Palais Royal 13 15 PARIS is engraved on the back plate upright on the left side. The dial also bears the signature Le Roy et Fils. What more can we say, the original gilding has just been cleaned , we will notice the usual signs of wear on the relief of the bronzes which constitute the cage. The transport box (a little tired) as well as the key are original, the key bears the number 12607 identical to that engraved on the pendulum ette.
