DAVID D'ANGERSLarge model of the Marianne of David d'Angers in bronze with medal patina.
This model is known in its size of 23 cm but very rare in large size because technically more difficult to achieve and much more expensive to sale.
The main face is engraved " LIBERTE LIBERTE CHERIE, CONDUIS TES DEFENSEURS" It is signed at the tip " PJ DAVID 1839 "
This piece is in its original condition, there is a small hole on the right side from original cast.
