"Charles Perrandeau (1865-1903) Young Breton In The Workshop Of An Artist"
A beautiful atmosphere for this work of the artist born in Sully sur Loire Charles Perrandeau. It represents a young woman wearing a headdress, certainly Breton, looking at a work (perhaps her portrait ...) in an artist's studio. It measures 38 cm by 46 cm, without the frame, and it is signed lower right. A pupil of Cabanel, Charles Perrandeau made his debut at the Salon of 1880. He was awarded a silver medal in 1889. His works are kept by the Museums of Amiens (Charles IX - on the bench), of La Rochelle (the widow), of Lyon (Misery), and Nancy (the Holy Girls).
