Particular and refined in the composure of the details, the architectural structure was certainly commissioned by a family of the high aristocracy. The three central drawers, finished on the sides by a carved and gilded cord, have decorated and gilded panels in mecca with three different representations. The first drawer depicts a coat of arms with the Napoleonic Imperial Eagle, the second depicts battle scenes, and the third a Napoleonic coat of arms. At the corners we find two balustrade columns with a secret opening mechanism from which two decorated panels can be seen that conceal an additional secret opening mechanism for the three drawers.
Certainly the cabinet was built to conceal important secret documents.
The floor is raised and is in recessed green alps marble.
