"Small Gouache "
Beautifully crafted, this small port scene features the transport of barrels on board a two-masted vessel. Small lively port on the Atlantic (Brittany?). Gouache on paper in a frame decorated with a laurel frieze. (wear to the gilding of the frame). France, mid-nineteenth century. Frame dimensions: 27 cm X 30 cm gouache: 8 cm X 12 cm.
