"Jingasa, Samurai Headdress In Blue Green And Gold Lacquered Kanshitsu"
Kanshitsu Ichimonjigasa-type samurai headgear covered with very dark green blue tatakinuri lacquer and adorned with a radian decoration from the top of six rays in gold lacquer. the facing part is adorned with a kamon mokko, Asakura clan coat of arms. Four-tier Hachimanza in sahkudo, copper and silver-plated copper at the top.On the back part is fixed an agemaki no byo, ring to tie the agemaki, silk ornament.
The interior is red lacquered and covered with small pieces of gold leaf. On the inside bottom is fixed the small pad and the rings in filled silk allowing comfort when wearing the headgear.
Japan end of the Edo period.
