"Porcelain Pastaud Limoges, Pair Of Decorative Dishes With Kingfisher, Hand Painted Decor"
Magnificent pair of decorative Limoges porcelain dishes from the Pastaud house, circa 1930/1940. Rare decoration of kingfisher flying over a body of water in search of fish swimming peacefully and hidden under lotus flowers; all in a beautiful twilight atmosphere. Charming representation of a stylized naturalistic scene where the influence of Art Nouveau is still felt, this decor is entirely hand painted and each of the dishes bears the signature of the artist Lamourd. Gold edging on the entire scalloped perimeter of the dishes. Green stamped mark on the back. Shipping costs Metropolitan France 25 euros, other destinations contact us
